Richard Leigh is Dead?

The RLC Research news page reported yesterday that Richard Leigh, co-author of Holy Blood, Holy Grail , died on 21 Nov 07. At this time I have not been able to confirm this through any news source other than the link at RLC. The folks at RLC are quite connected with folks in the “Grail World”. At this point, I have on reason to doubt the validity of the story. I’ll post if I find out anything different or see an official statement.

No matter what you thought of Leigh’s works, he will be remembered for drawing attention to the Rennes-le-Chateau mysteries. How many of us we first introduced to this world after reading Holy Blood, Holy Grail? The possibilities that were presented in that one book have opened the eyes of the world to possibilities that were never before imagined. For that alone we can thank Richard.
